Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

YWCA Hartford Region is committed to helping working families become financially secure. Each year, we support free tax preparation services through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

VITA services are available from mid-January through mid-April to individuals who qualify. You can have your taxes prepared by an IRS-certified volunteer either online or at any of the tax assistance sites. To schedule an appointment or locate VITA tax assistance sites in your city or town, visit www.211ct.org or dial 2-1-1 and press ‘3’ then ‘6’.
