Career Training

YWCA Hartford Region understands the daily challenges people face while pursuing job and career opportunities. To support individuals on their path to self-empowerment, we currently offer two programs to support your job and career goals:

YWCW

YWCW offers wellness support, personal career coaching, mentoring and ongoing support for individuals pursuing college degrees at Connecticut Community Colleges in Hartford and Manchester.

YW Tech Lab

YW Tech Lab offers two job training options. The first, YWTech Lab, is a free online training certificates for a career in IT support or other digital computing jobs. The YWTech Lab is a hybrid experience, offering both in-person and online instruction.

YW Tech Lab also offers Google IT Certification through online training courses that allows you to learn at your own pace. The flexibility allows you to learn digital and technical skills that work best for your schedule and prepares you for careers in high-demand IT and other digital-skills jobs.

Both YW Tech Lab programs are free and provide hands-on experience to strengthen digital skills that can lead to a new career.
