Preferred, Priority Food List | Community Resources

People in our shelter, housing, youth and adult programs and across Hartford region are facing an unprecedented crisis. With the federal government shutdown now in effect, SNAP benefits are at risk and many households have already lost access to essential support.

No matter what these next few weeks hold, we know one thing for sure:
Food insecurity is rising fast — and we refuse to stand by.

That’s why we’re launching a Food Pantry to provide emergency support to the individuals and families we serve in our housing, education and training programs.

We’re collecting non-perishable food and essential household items to help those who need it most. If you are interested in bringing donations, we have free parking at our building on 135 Broad Street, Hartford, CT.  Come Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and bring your donations to the entrance right off the lot with the bright persimmon (orange) canopy.

If coming by in person isn’t possible, or you’d prefer alternate ways to support, we’re accepting donations! You can give by check or online (see form below) at any time.
