Join us for our next Community Matters: Ending the Need for Group Placement on Thursday, August 24 at 5:30pm, where we will highlight the need to create alternatives to group placement for our young people that are safe, supportive and allow our youth and young adults to thrive in a family setting whenever possible. This community discussion will help raise awareness and gather insight and perspectives on how Connecticut can do better for our young people.
The Community Matters panel will include representatives from The Annie E. Casey Foundation, My People Clinical Services and The Department of Children and Families, offering their voice and experience on ways to tackle a system ready to be reimagined. The conversation will be moderated by Melinda L. Johnson.
This event is free to the public but we do ask that you register. We look forward to your attendance. Please register here.
