Child Care

Full Time Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting the head teacher perform all duties in the classroom.  These include assisting with lesson plans, classroom activities, lunch preparation, parent communication and all other duties in the classroom.  You will participate in training and other personal development activities to enhance knowledge and understanding of racial justice and women's econonmic empowerment and align programs and services with both implicitly and explicitly with mission of eliminating racism empowering women.   Must have a minimum of 1 year in a childcare setting and willingness to work with infants and toddlers.  CPR certification a plus.  Hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
