Community Matters: An Evening with Susan M. Omilian

Description: During YWCA's Week Without Violence, a global movement created to end violence against women and girls, award-winning author, attorney and motivational speaker Susan M. Omilian will present her new book, Awaken: The Awakening of the Human Spirit on a Healing Journey. Excerpts from the book will be performed by actress Lorrie Bacon Chaban. Connecticut State Troubadour, Kate Callahan will perform for the audience. The night's MC is international speaker and psychotherapist, Dr. Dorothy Martin-Neville.
Audience members will have an opportunity to purchase Awaken at a special event price of $15 and have it signed by the author. A portion of the proceeds of the event book sales will be donated to YWCA Hartford Region.
