Dear Visitor,
Camp season is coming up quickly! Summer 2008 at Camp Aya Po promises to be yet another exciting and fun experience for our new and returning campers and now is the time to think about registration.
All year round we work very hard on making camp a wonderful experience for our campers. We are pleased to share with you that we have reached an agreement with the YMCA of Greater Hartford to run Camp Aya Po for the summer of 2008.
The YMCA brings many years of camp and youth development experience, operating several day and overnight camps. Because of their experience we know that Camp Aya Po will continue to provide an environment that is both fun and a learning experience for our campers. The YMCA will handle registration, programming, staffing and all the other functions involved in running a camp.
To help make this transition easier for new and returning campers we have created a frequently asked questions section below. Please review it carefully.
We also encourage you to visit the YMCA’s website ( www.ghymca.org) or call them directly. Your contact for registration, fee and bus schedules, dates and any other questions related to 2008 sessions at Camp Aya-Po will be Executive Director Suzanne Appleton at (860) 872-7329, Ext. 11.
You may also call our office if you would like. Please call Dana Sears at (860) 525 – 1163, Ext. 220.
We look forward to seeing you and your camper at Camp Aya Po!
